"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight O Lord my rock and my Redeemer."

God is our refuge & strength,
A very present help in
trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
though the earth should change,
And though the mountains slip
into the heart of the sea;
Though its waters roar & foam,
Though the mountains quake at
its swelling pride.
Cease striving & know that I
am God
I will be exalted among the
nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

But as for me, I trust in Thee, O LORD.

New Year痴 Resolutions

How can I use the New Year
To better serve my Lord?
I値l read my Bible every day,
And be more in accord.
I値l find new ways to serve others;
I値l love my neighbor, too.
I値l focus on "give" instead of "get"
In everything I do.
I値l forgive the people I知 mad at;
Angry feelings I値l discard;
I値l try to love my enemies,
Even though it痴 hard.
In the new year, I値l lift people up,
Instead of putting them down.
I値l fill my heart with love and joy,
And never wear a frown.
I値l let go of my worries;
I値l put it all in His hands;
I値l repent and try to sin less,
And obey all His commands.
These new year痴 resolutions
Are difficult, at best,
But there痴 something I can do each day
That will put my soul at rest:
I値l love my Lord with all my heart,
With all my mind and soul,
And if I do that essential thing,
All the rest will be in control.
