The Queen Bee & Better Half

This little page is to introduce my husband & myself to you.
While it makes a charming picture,
there really isn't a throne in our home with hubby at my feet!
Hopefully we serve one another as is needed to make for a peaceful, pleasant home.

We live in Western Kansas, just a mile from the Colorado Stateline.
Ron is a farmer raising wheat, corn, sunflowers, beans, & feed.
After many years working as a bookkeeper I am enjoying being at home.

Our three children are grown & have "hives" of their own now, buzzing with activity.
So hard to edit here ... we lost our oldest son in Sept. 2008. Still he is with us in our hearts.
Still, we seem to keep things humming at a dizzy pace ourselves most of the time!
 

Ron stays too busy in the summer for much besides farming.
But always finds some time to have coffee on the porch & walks with his dogs.

I like gardening & bears..

We both like to read & play on our computers.
We both are Christians & love the Lord.
AND
We both adore our 9 grandchildren.
We are very blessed.
